Thank you so much for your interest in my work. I believe art to be not really so much an escape from reality, but rather a vivid, colorful reflection on the beauty of life around us. I've been drawing and painting since I could remember, but it wasn't until my son Wallie was born last year that I decided to pursue it as a career. I knew there would be a day where Wallie would ask me why I didn't pursue my passions and talents. I couldn't tell my son to go after his dreams, no matter the odds, when I was too insecure to go after my own. I want to at least say that I tried and be a model of perseverance for him. All of my paintings are completed in either ink or acrylic and range from city life (particularly Savannah) to faith, fantasy, and abstract.
Special thank you to Betsy Kane Photography for shooting my illustrations for the site.
I hope my illustrations bring you joy and that the quality is to your liking. Please feel free to contact me for any requests, commissions, and feedback.
